people always want db and ig in groups

db for para locking, ig for mount spam (lol)

cb is pretty safe too if you know what you're doing

bow is really underrated unfortunately, so don't be surprised if you get kicked from high level GQs simply for entering the room with it (this applies to ALL ranged weapons)

sucks, because

1. spread power shot bows flinch things like crazy (again, if you know what you're doing)
2. lbg is amazing for sleep/para, and relatively safe to use especially with skills like trajectory and evade distance
3. hbg is the undisputed dps king

thing is, hosts that have never touched a ranged weapon or have had bad experiences with new players getting 1-shot will look at you and your low defense and auto-kick

if you're worried about farming end-game and staying in "good" groups you should avoid completely:

sword and shield
hunting horn
lance
gunlance
bow

to a lesser extent:

lbg
hbg
long sword


as a person who uses all weapons, the first group I listed all have a high chance of auto-kick
second group, it happens less often but it's still something to consider

0% chance of auto-kick unless you're wearing low rank armor or nothing at all:

cb
ig
gs
db (if para)

Finally finished caravan quests and got my wystones upgraded. Pretty stoked.

Apparently I main db now.

I tend to stick to my Para DB and don't switch much unl;ess it's something I have a half decent elemental one for that para isn't much help vs

I mainly us pshamoages, and chameleos blades. Somerimes dragon db too.

DB is a beast if u know what ur doing.

Makes G rank monsters like cake walk.

Trying to farm black gravios for armor/cannon. 5 games in a row failed. I'll admit I did die once. But jeez. Frustrating...lol

new MH game announced, using 4U's engine they are aiming for a flashier style like has been done with frontier


I'm hyped

that's what sucks about getting mh4u so late though, it just came out outside of japan and capcom has already announced stories and cross, i guess it'll take them as long to localise those games as it took for mh4u but goddamn it's frustrating
