I rage quit not too long into the race yesterday.

Going from 1st to 7th is my curse xD Dang Blue shells

that's why the touch screen is so important, always check what items people get and if you see a blue shell let the second guy pass if possible

pretty sure the blue shell targets the first when it is thrown, so you have to get in 2nd before the guy use it
which is pretty much impossible since ppl usually throw it right when they get it (no reason to wait really)

best thing to do is to try and take as many people with you as possible, or have a huge lead (i usually keep a huge lead, hurhurhurhru)

i mean once you're first the only things you need to worry about are:

1. keeping an item behind you
2. blue shells

thats it, as long as you dont make a mistake, you'll stay 1st

oh you'd be surprised, i've been in some groups where people actually took their time to throw the blue shell because the first would let the second pass, the second (now first) would notice it and stop aswell and in the end the leading group would be slowed down a lot by a guy who didnt throw his blue shell right away

edit: and i like throwing my items when i know the guys behind me dont have red shells

generally speaking, people use their blue shell right away

blue turlte dont help if your in dead last

i shoot it right away if im to far away to catch up
