you suddenly have a LOT of space for some characters

Waluigi has been around since mario party 4, is a unique character, so they could come up with a sweet moveset
Same thing goes for Birdo, final smash having something to do with her eggs

Birdo would be shitty.

Agree with the rest. Anyone with a duplicate character should go. Like how Falcon and Ganon have the same moves, just a different body. Ganon should go.
Waluigi would be a cool addition.

Megaman would also be awesome and could potentially have an amazing moveset.
And Luigi should have some Poltergust moves added. Then it'd be a lot more interesting

falco/ganondorf need to stay (falco is the main of so many ppl, removing it wouldnt do any good, as for ganondorf, they just need to give him a new and decent movepool)
also obviously ness/marth are gonna stay
jigglypuff will stay for sure and needs to
lucario will be remplaced by an other pokemon mascot (im hoping for a mewtwo comeback, but will probably be zoroark)

nn waluigi in smash, hes just a worse wario character wise
wario has his own game so he gets the background needed to be in smash
all we know about waluigi is that he's luigi's counterpart and he likes to party
so until i see him in his own game, im gonna say no

and birdo, well lets just say there are a lot more character id like to see before her


as for the only character id really want to see in smash, it would have to be geno
even tho it will probably never happen, square could try and revive the character and make a new game with nintendo
just like nintendo did with pit last game


also keep in mind that many of character arent going to comeback in the next game

due to either an imminent game incoming for them (pit/olimar) or simply because they are veteran or have been staples of the game for a while (like falco, marth or even ice climbers, no recent games but they still made it into melee and brawl and were quite popular in both)

so once again, those are just my opinions on the subject
