Just a completely random guess but could it be distance in position away from the person who used it?

maybe which place ur in too
but ive been in first many times
and had different effects

also
I noticed on certain levels
when ur in flight
if theres a Speed up Jump
u can hit the middle of the jump
get the boost and stay in flight
have to press jump at right time

i think items also last longer if you got them in a lower position (like a star will last longer if you get it in 8th place compared to if get it in 4th place)
so lightning will last longer for everyone if the person who used it is dead last

and it affects you differently depending on your position (1st will stay small a lot longer etc etc)


and about the jump thing pretty much every time you jump you can use R to get a boost

jus how if ur in flight
and u go down and hit a boost jump
u can stay in flight and hit the jump
without losing flight
jus gotta hit it right

i bumped into someone with a star like 3 times in a row and it didnt do anything, i prolly was lagging cuz i was too far from my router tho


anywayyy, iso some racing nao, battles would be more enjoyable with more ppl from jsp, tired of sl4mming mexicans

ya i threw a red turtle at this mario guy and it just kept following him lol

i play some racing

well red shells only go faster than someone like a second after they've been launched, after that they go slower and they eventually disappear (only in battles tho)

was like that in mkds too iirc


anyway gonna join for some racing, need moar ppl tho
