It is in terms of sales. If you have some other metric by which to measure the success of a console (Other than "MY FRIENDS AND I FEEL THAT WAY HURR DURR") then I'm all ears. :)

yes im compareing the old wii to ps3 and 360, as soon as wii drops this new one microsoft will have the 720 or w/e and ps4 will come, its just always that way, also games like assasins creed also are ont he other systems aswell

Yes and they will also be released on the PC.
So what makes the ps and xbox better than the wii now ?

i am agreeing with you that they are far ahead in the name of sales

but what little argument there is to that is
1 the classic gamers/retards all have one(i can argue this and say my brother is autistic and he has one and all his autistic friend have one) refuse to move on
2 the whole age range makes a huge difference in sales

they each have there own titles for the specific game series, just like nintendo has mario, playstation has grand turismo xbox has halo ect, i think wii went in a difrent direction from the other systems like i said it went to a broader base for familys +old people good buisness idea but bad for gamers where as playstation and xbox are still for gamers not gamers + there grandparents(nothing wrong with that just saying)

Nintendo had many more nintendo only titles.
Most good xbox and ps games will also be released on the pc to increase sales and because they're developed by a 3rd party.
Nintedo has very strong 1st party titles and now because they also upgraded the hardware they're also attracting the 3rd party developers that made games for xbox/ps..
Tekken on the wii for example.
