Sonic's still much weaker than the rest of the game, final smashes not taken into account. Try using Fox's Up smash, rather than sides.

I dont even get what the problem was?

well playing without final smash makes it more balanced
(i play without too xD)

sonic is a beast with items xD
fast enough to get final smash (wich is to strong)
and fast enough to grabb all items
and even without items he has immense strength (because of combos)

oh, and i've seen the vids and they are compared to my playstyle slow.
maybe wrong vids xD

he can combo in the air alright but there are MUCH better for it.
