The point is that it's based on wins and placings with what character at tourneys, so the tier list putting Ganon in G tier doesn't mean that a Snake will completely obliterate him. It just means that the [few] people going to tourneys with Ganon don't place high. afaik there aren't MANY Ganons going to tourneys. IF you had like 50 pro level players going to tourneys as Ganon, he would jump the hell up into at least D, I would think.

You're party right. It depends on the ganons placings, but it's not 100% tourneys. It's also metagame advancements. Because Sonic is 15th out of 35th or something like that in tourney placings because he's popular as hell, but he's still like, the 29th worst in the game.
