Im debating about getting it, I have the financial comfort to do so but idk if Ill use it to its full potential

defintly worth it , imo.

edit 1 : still dont own the new 3ds , but will in may aftre my new york trip.

Go and get it, also stop thinking that a purchase might not be worth it if you might not be able to use its full potential

Its like saying you will never eat steak if you can't have the side dish alongside it, just enjoy life cause it always goes downhill on some point so you might as well get an improved portable time sink machine

if you have any reason to want to upgrade your 3DS or just replace your current 1 it's well worth it (I had a reg 3DS for a few years, so upgrading to this was an easy decision for me)

Only thing that bothers me about my current 3ds is the screen size, I dont really care for the 3d it self

if all you want is a bigger acreen you can get a refurbished 3ds xl (regular) for 135 (140 for special editions)
