well in canada , we have plenty of the black/red new 3ds left. majora mask sold out like hot butter... but im going to wait till we have a new special edition cause imo plain colors look boring.

But seriously... tried ordering one 4 hours after announcement and the guy laughed at me... I get the Limited Edition thing but why purposely make it THAT limited that like only 5% of demand is met? Most of them are immediately resold anyways which is bullshit.

They need to come up with a way to minimize that whether that's 1 per customer or taking as many preorders as people want to put in in the first week then producing exactly that many on release (nobody who doesn't order something like that in the first week would overpay a scalper)

Correct. So far only Xenoblades has been confirmed as a New 3DS exclusive (due to hardware requirements) but everything else will be usable on both systems. The only major upgrades are 3D face tracking, C-stick, faster loading times, and a few other small things
