So I've been out of the handheld gaming thing for a while. I mean a long long while. The last system I had was a Gameboy SP back in 2005 I think. Anyway, I've been drooling over Ocarina of Time and the new Majora's Mask that's coming out. I've got a list of games that I am going to pickup between now and Summer.

The Legend of Zelda: A link between worlds
Super Smash Bros (I have a Wii U, should I pick it up on this console instead?)
Pokemon Alpha Saphire
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Star FOx 64 3d (I can't seem to find this game less than $70. Is this a rare game?)
Pokemon Omega Ruby
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The first two games I'll be getting is Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Then, I'll pick up A Link Between Worlds.

Are there any other games you guys recommend?

Also, I preordered the Majora's Mask 3ds. I'm seriously considering just leaving it wrapped up and unopened and purchasing a second 3ds xl. Maybe buy two copies of each of the zelda games. Think their worth would increase in 5 or 10 years? I"m kicking myself because I didn't get the majoras mask skull kid combo.

i'd recommend picking up smash on wiiu

and unless you really want both i'd recommend not picking up both pokémon alpha sapphire and omega ruby, they're basically the same game
X or Y + Alpha sapphire or Omega ruby would be a bang for your buck

I'm kind of scared to try anything other than ruby or saphire. The last game I played was emerald I think. I have seen videos of the games going past ruby/saphire/emerald and I wasn't so impressed. I'm not sure if I would want to pick up anything other than ruby/saphire.

Hey, if you did manage to preorder the new 3ds XL majoras mask, consider yourself lucky and yes leaving it in box isn't a bad idea considering they are already selling for over $300

The limited edition majoras mask game is also selling for $100+ already, I wouldn't bother buying two copies of the standard version because it's value wont go up much, but it will hold its value well over time compared to other games.

Some games I think worth getting are:
-Animal crossing new leaf (if you like more casual relaxing games, this game is absolutely amazing)
-Donkey kong returns (best 2d platformer on the console Imo)
-Kid icarus (essentially a 100x better version of star fox)
-super mario 3d land (really fun but too short imo)
-mario golf (if you like the series, this one is on par)


I personally find pokemon series as a hole to be too shallow and hasn't evolved since it came out in the 90's, got very bored of X myself. Lot of other games worth checking out that I missed (luigis mansion, fire emblem, mario and luigi dream team, ect)

I really want to buy Majoras Mask 3DS and Monter Hunter 3DS but they say its sold out???
wtf they say its coming out on February 13th, but technically its not.... if I cant buy it on February 13th then I have no Idea when it was released

is it already released? ofcourse because people already payed for it and its already 100% theirs...

it isn't released, but the number of preorders were limited, hence why sold out
