the way I see it's a new gen for Nintendo



I can actually see this being interesting, it may seem silly, but essentially it sounds like they're setting up a parental filter right there, which can be good for the uninformed parents or parents with children who know enough to get around parental controls

"New 3ds" would be one of the worst names ever

i mean ds - 3ds was not very smart
Wii - WiiU was pretty dumb

but 3ds - new 3ds would be the worst

and nintendo always made remodels, as i recall it nobody said the dsi was a new gen of consoles, even though it touted many features that were not on the previous ds models

DSi didn't really get exclusives (except DSiware), this 1 will get exclusives since older models won't have the power to handle them

This new 3ds is essentially a new console generation. It is like going from original gameboy to gameboy color. Sure most 3ds games will support both but in a year or two, most to all games will make use of the full ram/cpu.


I am fucking PUMPED for this new 3ds myself because I still have my original 3ds. So fucking glad I didn't upgrade to an XL
