You really need to think about how most people only have 1-3hours a day to play if that at all.
Also most of the games people are playing today are competitive games were the company doesn't give two shits about
a single player mode but they quickly do something just to say they have it.
For example.. call of duty. I can finish almost everyone on the campaigns (besides world at war.. fucking retarded hard game) on hardest difficulty in 6hours MAX (that's pushing it)
So tl;dr yes.. 40 hours for a game is fucking amazing considering it's single player based.
