personally i dont need more than that but i can see why its a problem
but there are new battery packs for 3ds already
and idk if u noticed but the screws on the back of it are regular shaped, so i suspect u can change the actual battery without blowing the guarantee, not sure tho

I have heard of external battery packs that you can connect (they look sort of like the docking station you received with the 3ds) and they add a couple of hours of playtime, but i do hope that nintendo just releases a better one which you can replace yourself.

im pretty sure something like this will come out, because the screws arent buried 20ft into the console and are regular shaped (unlike the ds and dslite) it seems they wanna facilitate the access to the battery which probably means you can replace the battery without fucking up your guarantee
