Yoshi has a good matchup against the god tier due to his chain grab. Plus he has the closest thing to a wavedash in brawl. My yoshi your grampadorf?

Link is pretty bad cause of his recovery, but theres a pretty nice 0-60 combo that is easy to pull off for him. All in all he's hard to use, but he's still better than cf/ganon

And I wouldnt use yoshi just for wavedashing.
Yoshi has shield lag, and he can't jump while shielding, he has a horrible attack variety.
Up B = VERY little recovery / bad move.
Link might have a 0-60 combo but he's still horrible.
He can gimp himself on the ground he's so bad.
I honestly think Yoshi and Link should be bottom two.

So all skilled players just like to play metaknight and none like to play samus not based on how good they find the character?
