Is there / are they adding multilplayer?

Basicly the same as it was on the console back then.
Difference=you can hold it in your hand.
It has multplayer then, and if you beat the hard mode true ending, it unlocks the pilot/landmaster option.
Whether they decide to stick to that this time, not sure.
But they def need add more to the multiplayer.
Otherwise it'd be no better then the original 64 version.

only need 1 cartridge for multiplayer and i know a few people who have a 3ds so i'll get to play a lot

i wouldnt say that , theres 3d, gyro aiming, enhanced graphics most likely other small things







by local does that mean i can play with someone from the same town or do i need to be in the same room

Overatedgraphics and gimickscope/10.
If they haven't added any new content or at least boosted the multiplayer, it's the same game just on a portable.

the multiplayer is "boosted" i heard it has a lot of new stuff, it just doesnt have online

also the new textures add a lot considering the older ones were just a pile of mud, its still a n64 game ofc but its a very good game and it aged well, and definitely deserved the revamp
