what difficulty setting are you playing on?

Normal atm, i plan to play through it again at higher difficulties later, but normal on this game compared to normal on RD is very different

Well I just beat Fire Emblem on normal, was pretty enjoyable and the game has at least 2 different endings (assuming choices prior to the deciding choice don't have much if any effect on the ending)
although have to say one issue I have with Nintendo about this game is the fact that they didn't release the previous game on the DS which was a sequel to FE:Shadow Dragon (and a part of the same timeline as awakening)

anyway hopefully Nintendo will give us some of or all the DLCs on Feb 4th cause i want dem characters

For those who got Fire Emblem Awakening early the DLC for Marth is now available (currently free)
There are also a few SpotPass things available in the game now as well

should've preordered it :P
i got it early cause nintendo messed up and stores thought they were able to start selling, as of wednesday i heard eb had to pull it off shelves and stop selling until the 4th

game is pretty good though and quite a bit of the customizability is more towards your character/ DLC characters / the children characters / hired characters you got from someone via street pass (since only the tactician is received from this)

also to add to this - the DLC is only free until March 6th and it gives you a map you must complete to get the character (this map is designed just like the first chapter of the original NES Fire Emblem, I don't remember what chapter it was in Shadow Dragon)

Well Fire Emblem Awakening is official released today
although I'm hearing mention of it being high demand and selling out at places
luckily you can purchase the game off the eShop if you cannot get a physical copy anywhere nearby

i am personally hoping they'll give out/sell more DLCs today cause i want more than just Marth and the Blazing Sword character group from SpotPass

cause i'm bored
Game takes place in the same timeline as original first 3 fire emblem games made (2 of which were remade, but 1 never made it here), but is around a thousand years later, with the main Lord character being a descendant of Marth and even wielding the Falchion although it is not as strong as it once was (it does have unlimited uses though)
In the time between this one and the previous one the continents have had big changes and all original countries no longer exist
The game starts in a fight with just you and Chrom and after this you awake with no memories
Game introduces a few new and interesting classes (pegs with magic, healer with axes, an on foot caster using swords) and dark magic no longer has its own weapon level (based off tome, but is only useable by 2-3 classes unless they have a skill to allow it)
Support system is extremely useful compared to previous games (C rank counts as if that person was 2 people beside the unit instead of just 1, B rank count as 3, A rank 4, S rank 5?), and just having units beside each other gives bonuses such as hit, dodge, avoid, and crit based on how many beside you and Upon hitting S rank the characters will get married (S rank is only attainable by those who can get married) and upon doing so you eventually unlock a side chapter (what side chapter is based on the wife)
There are a few mentions of past characters (Marth and few of his knights) and even a returning character (not DLC related)
The class system is only 2 tier again, but you can reclass into specific other classes based on the character and the 2 tier system stat wise is comparable to the stats of 2nd and 3rd tier classes from radiant dawn

Any questions I can try to answer them if anyone has any

Haven't checked anything new for Nintendo in a while.
Been just waiting for Luigi's Mansion lol.

Anyways just checked out Fire Emblem Awakening.. this game looks fucking amazing.
Looks for some more opinions. Never played one of these games before but I might go buy this one.
