Video showing off all the fire emblem classes, kinda sad it's back to 2 tier system instead of the 3 tier used in radiant dawn and no more daggers/knives it looks like :(
does look like it might be back to having at some SS style class changes though

It turns out Luigi won't be alone in his 3DS ghost busting adventure.

Although Nintendo has yet to officially announce the feature, its Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon website revealed that the Next Level-developed title will support multiplayer

lol local MP when will nintendo start adding online

Dark Moon won't just support local play, but online and download functionality as well, for up to four players, with the download functionality removing some features. Whether your friends are near, far or don't even own a copy of the game, you'll be able to join them for some ghost busting fun.

Nintendo was only willing to provide so many details on what Dark Moon's multiplayer, titled "Scarescraper," will contain. Only the cooperative Hunter Mode was revealed, implying more to come. But Hunter Mode still packs plenty of potential, as players, taking on the roles of multi-colored Luigis, navigate floors and rooms of a haunted tower packed with ghosts of all varieties, including bosses. Coordination and communication are key here, as some of these enemies are quite fierce.

Hunter Mode contains a considerable amount of options and variables. Players can determine the number of floors they must conquer, including an option for their climb to never end. There are also three difficulty levels, the middle of which is certainly challenging enough. And, if that wasn't enough, players will be able to acquire upgrades for their vacuums, both through a cumulative effort to acquire treasure as well as randomly assigned bonuses at the end of a level - assuming players can earn them by quickly acquiring several red coins once all the ghosts have been defeated.

Key to all of this are two ideas - every floor and every boss comes with a time limit. If it expires, you all lose. Efficiently disposing of your enemies and properly exploring your environment is absolutely essential. But that leads to the next important notion - the floor layouts and enemy layouts (and types) are completely random. In essence, no experience will ever be quite the same.

Cooperating with your fellow players is essential in the game, and you'll be able to keep track of where they are through a lower-screen map. This isn't just useful for knowing which rooms to clear, but where to go if an ally falls in battle. A quick press of a button will revive a friend, with hearts being available throughout with a bit of exploration. And while cooperation - for upgrades, for treasure, for survival - is necessary, individuals will be judged based on their performance through statistics and more personalized awards. Fail to kill many ghosts, and the game will label you as 'Mostly Harmless' for all to see.

There's no doubt more to Dark Moon's "Scarescraper" modes. Considering how entertaining 'Hunter Mode' turned out to be, it'd hardly surprise us if Luigi's Mansion's multiplayer becomes just as noteworthy as its main 'Quest Mode.'

yeah it's pretty easy because the game lets you grind imo, im almost finished with it. Tried the lagdou ruins (or something like that) yesterday which isnt a part of the main quest. What i didnt know is the 10th and final floor of the ruins is the hardest place in the game.. Went in without expecting anything special and got my buns kicked (basically franz died so i'm gonna restart at my last save. Which means i lost 10 hours of gameplay LOL took me a while to get up but by the time i was on the 20th floor all the characters i use were lvl 20 it was nice.. ohwell just gonna finish the main quest i think scew that stuff loll i'll do it on another playthrough

Well have to say i'm really enjoying Fire Emblem Awakening
but i have a few things i just want to say
base difficulty is lower than radiant dawn
Loving how you can change your tactician and lord to other classes though (allows for so much customizability with them)
absolutely loving how the support works now (never really bothered with it in previous games) and love the system for pairing up characters
Each character has specific classes they can be changed to (unlike lord/tactician which have access to most classes)
The villager you obtain in paralogue 1 will probably end up being your most OP unit cause of 1 skill he has

I have found some small issues/bugs though
every scene the character's feet clip through the ground
if you have language set to japanese and you close the game it will default back to english but the option will still say japanese
big issue right here: game freezing (only had this happen under 1 specific condition 2 times) the conditions of which it happened were my knight got attacked by an archer using a longbow while i had first person combat set, but that was easily bypassed by turning off battle animation during enemy turn, at some point i'll prob try to figure out the actual cause of that issue though
