cant really get around having a low battery life if you want a more powerful console

dpad/circle pad is subjective (personally i prefer the circle pad to joysticks)

and owning no physical gba games i cant really say i would prefer having the port, dont get me wrong though its a neat thing to have but clearly the ds lite isnt the best for everybody

you guys trying your best but clearly the dslite is the winrar here
dslite was nintendo's masterpiece when it comes to handheld, then it all started declining with the dsi

maybe the 3dsxl could come near the dslite perfectness but i have yet to try it out

and the fact that the eshop has like 3-4 worthwhile game is disapointing (once again nintendo fails to deliver with their virtual console, see in 3 years when all the good games finally comes out)
pretty much all games that came out for the 3ds were disapointing, for the exception of super mario 3d land (even tho its just an other mario game) and oot (for the sole reason that its fucking oot)

3ds is a weak console

like i said it's mostly a matter of taste

dslite had backward compatibility with the last gen and so does the 3ds

the eshop has a bunch of great titles for a variety of different gamers, maybe you only found 3-4 that you liked but there's definitely a bunch of quality content (pushmo/crashmo, sakura samurai, dillon's rolling western, ketzal's corridor (and those are only first party games i think

then with retail games there's a ton of games IMO, i played 150 hours of mario kart so for me it clearly wasnt a dissapointment, RE:revelation was awesome, kid icarus is a quality title too (altough i didnt enjoy this one), kingdom hearts, heroes of ruin

edit: i understand why one could dislike his 3ds and find it "weak" but dont say it like its a fact because it's not
