It's not a problem for people who have played the game, but going through it the first time was HELL.

I love it now, but first time around was horrible... it's a shame the 3DS version shows you the way around

i played Oot a LOT as a kid but it was mostly watching my brother play it/ fucking around in hyrule field

well the corridors that lead to the rooms were you change the water level glow, so you can't get lost... but after an hour of going around the temple you know your way around anyway, so it's a minor help that just makes it less frustrating at first

what really makes it easier, is the part where you play the ocarina inside the central tower area to make the water level rise up to the middle. When you do that in the 3DS version you see a plataform rise, revelaing an area beneath it; in the N64 version this wasn't shown, and most people got stuck there because it took them a long time to notice that area. That key, and another one around where you meet Ruto were easy to miss and made people get stuck for hours.

I think I'm the only person here that's never posted anything ponyrelated, so here it goes:

Do you actually like the show? And if so how? It seems like every other generic kid show.

yes i actually do like the show
and tbh im not exactly sure why, if you had told me 3 years ago that i'd be watching my little pony, i would probably be laughing at you

i guess its a mix of the animation style/character development (yes be cause there is character development in this show unlike most kids show)
also the show has some very good writer

im not saying its the greatest show ever made, but its good for what it is
oh and i didnt like the show at all at first, took me something like 4 episode before i actually started liking (once i got used to all the character i guess) and the only reason i started watching it was because:

1. twilight sparkle (pony in my sig/ava) looked like stocking from panty and stocking with garterbelt which i just finished watching on youtube
2. there were so many thread about this on 4chan i just had to look what it was exactly (and i think the fandom really started out because of this, people started watching the show ironically and then they realized it was actually good)


tldr: show's just good, if you're going to judge it, watch it first (with a grain of salt)
