I thought it would have better replay value, though.
I started my first file as a 3heart run. Barely ever died, got to the final dungeon, lost motivation to finish the game.
It was a very fun game though. The puzzles in it will blow your mind. Who'da thunk a wall was soo useful?

zelda games arent hard, but you should have saved that three heart run for hero mode 4x damage should do the trick

That and no Zora Tunic or bottles. Them bottles are rigged.

Would you say that any Zelda game has a short term replay value? For me they do have a good replay value, but only after 1-3 years from the last time you beat it.

Maybe it's just me but games like OoT and LttP are amongst my favourite (not-just-zelda) games of all time, and I've beaten them a bunch of times, but I've never been able to start a new file just after beating the game.

I'm not going to try LBW's hero mode until next year or so... in fact I still have pending OoT's Master Quest mode, which I'l probably get to this summer.
