apparently game informer gave mk7 a 5 for not changing anything but gave mw3 a 9.5 for keeping it the same.. lol

also game informer is pretty damn stupid

mario kart 7 is the handheld version of mario kart
meaning its predecessor is mario kart ds

and mario kart 7 is a huge improvement from mario kart ds, it was much needed

lol it didnt get rated accordingly, it obviously was the work of bf3 fanboys giving the game unfair reviews (mostly 0's)
game isnt a 9.5, but it sure isnt a 3.5 lol

and this is why you shouldnt give a fuck about review website, but try the game yourself before giving your opinion, or at least watch the game in action

mk 7 received a 5/10, zelda skyward sword got a bad review from gamespot (i think it was gamespot anyway), so before you come and rub some pointless review scores in my face, think about it first

i can kind of agree with you... i bought tatsunoko vs. capcom on the wii and it wasnt as good as other capcom fighters and it got a 9/10

all im saying is they pretty much had it coming, i know a lot of cod fans who were very dissapointed by the game and its normal


metacritic doenst show you if a game is good or not i agree with you, but it shows if opinions about the game are consensual or not, if everyone agrees that the game is good or not
and that can be somewhat helpful when considering buying a game or not imo

ill never say this enough, reviews arent objective, its always the opinion of one person, the experience of this person, the tastes of this person
if you base everything you do on what other people tell you, well i feel sad for you


now im not saying reviews website are bad, but you cant base your opinion on a single review, and even with multiple person reviewing a game, like the case with mw3, the opinion can be biased because of people jumping on the bandwagon


so like i said, mw3 isnt worth a 3.5, but its not worth a 9.5 either

also i never heard anyone cry about all the sports game coming out each year and selling millions of copies, they barely change anything to the game (beside the rosters, which could be updated via online service)

people like jumping on bandwagon, giving mw3 bad reviews is a good exemple
