LOL Wavedash and l-cancel ARE glitches, they were not originally intended to be used in the game.

l-cancel does have a reason and was programmed like this

they found out about wavedashing and even gave it a name, how can it be a glitch then?

than why were they fixed in brawl?

They weren't fixed, they were removed to lessen the gap between newbs such as you, to advanced players. The idea there is so flawed and sadly a lot of other games have been following suit. Get good pls.

Have you ever played GunZ?
"K-Style" was a glitch, an obvious one. The developers found out about it, thought about fixing it, then realized, why should they? Its part of the game.
Just because it is massively used, the company knows about it, and also gives it a name/acknowledges its name, does not make it any less of a glitch.

Take your lack of competitive video game knowledge out of a thread about competitive gamers. A glitch is a fault or a defect in a program. By no means is l-cancel or wave dash a fault or a defect. It's an advanced technique, and the fact you would argue otherwise just shows how simple minded of an individual you are.

Cool story bro on the GunZ though, or whatever the hell you're talking about. Has nothing to do with Smash brothers and I don't even care to look into the validity of your statement.

Well i haven't touched brawl since i sold it a few months after release... I dont know why your getting so defensive/snappy lol. It was still a glitch that they decided to keep. I'm pretty sure they wouldnt come up with something like that at the discussion table. It was probably just discovered and they thought it was cool/neat, i dont know when it was discovered though =/.

Another thing, the online for brawl is a joke. So I'm just going to assume that all the players you face you are picking. That means there is no reason they would need to lesson the gap for noobs. Unlike a big online game that would need to make balance issues or w/e because your playing randoms and they want casual players to have a good time.

I'm just defending the truth, there is no snappyness. If you or anyone else was even close to having a valid argument, it wouldn't appear so.

Anyways, how am I supposed to even come back at your comment when all we established is you don't know a lot, and you assume much more?

they were removed in brawl because they changed the physics, but in their place came a bunch of other advanced techniques. do you think that dacus'ing, bdacus'ing, glide tossing and all of the other advanced techniques in brawl are glitches? also, sakurai made melee for hardcore gamers and he worked on melee so much that i SERIOUSLY doubt that they'd miss something like that. i'm certain they were both created intentionally. read these two articles and you might change your mind.
