Sorry, but that's not the reason WHATSOEVER. The Wii's average game obviously doesn't have eye-candy graphics, but there were a few insanely good ones such as Mario Galaxy. It's not that it "can't handle it."
I don't think you guys understand the Wii. It's not meant to suffice a powergamer's idea of a console, it's moreso approaching a casual point of view. Get a 360/PS3 if you want to be a hardcore gamer. Even then, the PS3/360 can be enjoyable in small doses, but the Wii was more designed for this and more for casual gamers. What is your guys' idea of shovelware might be a casualist's idea of a good game. Obviously some 9 year old kid isn't going to care about wether the game has 258bit color perfect graphics or shit like that. Nintendo is great at what they do, and they make a hell of a lot of money doing it.
