the 3d part of the game is on a rail

wat? riding the rails was always a blast in sonic battle2, tho it looks like they made the 3d in general too fast (including on the rails), in battle u had to angle urself with the rails to get max speed

not what i meant

it basically your running on a straight small lane in 3d mode you cant venture out

oh yeah, the 3d is fucked. Like i said sonic adventure was only 3d sonic to do it right
