in the end a review is nothing but an opinion and i dont think either edge or famitsu would put up a review of a game they havent played

if you want to give more importance to ign's reviewer's opinion good for you

and famitsu's score is based on 4 people's impression of the game (hence the score being out of 40) which makes it a lot harder for any game to get a perfect score
