sorry but i dont believe this

edit: so ive been playing sideways to have the 3d blurred for the last 10 minutes and besides being fucking annoying it didnt feel like it was making a difference, ofc its not a very long lapse of time but it was too annoying

i play my 3ds for hours at a time and the only reason i turn off the 3d is to fully concentrate on what im doing XD cause if i dont stare directly into the 3ds, i can see both screen and it fucks me up -.-

other than that, ive NEVER had eye strain with my 3ds, or any video game for that matter since i was like, what, 10? and i see 20/20 or better!

maybe zarkadon has shitty vision? and just blames the 3ds? idk... and idc.. all i know is that both my eyes stare at two different images and they dont strain.

wut? I love my 3DS. And like you said, it fucks you up when you don't stare directly into it, that's what can cause eyestrain in the long run. Aslong as you use it properly, you are safe; but since little kids might not be using it properly, it is recommended for them not to use it on 3D mode, just in case since it's pretty much impossible to be sure they're doing it right. Even in the instruction manual it says the 3DS shouldn't be used on public transport because you might have trouble keeping the correct angle and end up with eyestrain.

where does it say that?

i still dont believe looking at the screen sideways can harm your eyes more than holding it straight

believe it or not, human eyes were never intended to work that way
as long as there arent any studies on long term exposure to this kind of 3d, neither of you will be right

I'm not sure, but didn't they mean the 3D itself wasn't harmful? I agree with that, it's just when used on a bad angle I say it can cause eyestrain. If it annoys your eyes when you aren't looking at it right, it's you eyes telling you "this is bad for me", that's the way I see it, we constantly get messages like that from our bodies when something is doing us harm.

well, maybe we got diferent instrutions since we live in diferent countries? (we migth have diferent laws that make Nintendo include certain safety procedures idk)

I won't be able to check where exactly it says it until around easter break because I left the box with the manuals at my paren't house though
