u need to find out if his 3ds whent on the eshop b4 the 11th at 11:00pm at night
if he did it b4 then
that 3ds will receieve 20 free games
its the ambassador program for people who spent 250 on the 3ds
u get 10 of the games on sep 1st

just need to have bought it before the 12th

just make sure you have the reciept and you will just need to fill a form and send it to nintendo (pretty much) if the 3ds havent gone on the eshop before the 12th
