they said they had no plans to do it not that they dont want to

i think there is a good chance they release those and the 10 nes games aswell eventually

i seriously doubt they are going to, in the near future anyway

It just seems weird to not.
It make's sense that they are replaying those who bought early, but at the cost of upsetting those who didn't? (I am personally not that upset, but you know some people will be)

Nintendo is offering 3DS owners a free downloadable copy of the 3D remake of NES classic Kid Icarus.

To qualify for the offer, gamers will have to purchase and register two 3DS titles from the list below on Club Nintendo by January 31, 2012 to receive a free download code.

Kid Icarus will be available to download from the 3DS eShop from January 5. It will be the first 3D Classics game to receive a total graphical makeover, as this video shows.
