Yeah i sold some old games when i was younger, regret it. But didnt sell much and i continuely increase my retro collection

Basicly this.
No one is talking about the consoles.
We are talking about games we have got rid of that we now regret.
I only said I shoudln't have got rid of my snes/nes (As I had over 50+ games just on nes alone and could not list all I had).
I didn't regret the saturn (and I don't care bout the jap shooters, random arcade games that every system has, blah blah blah) because it didn't have any games that I would regret.
I'm not sure how hard it is too understand that.


these arent random arcade games, the saturn played 2d damn right near perfect and pretty much any 2d game on the system was good


you said you bought it for sonic 3d blast which is one of the saturn/genesis worst

Yes, that sonic was bad. We've already established this.
I had bout 30 games and there was none that made me like the system any better.
Arcade games are boring (imo) on the saturn.
Even virtual cop, the one that held my interest for a little bit, was a arcade game but it easily wore out/beaten within a hour.
So I had no regret getting rid of it to my cousin who got rid of it shortly after as she found the games slow and easy.

oh god, like i said before the saturn has some of the best 2d shooters that are some of the hardest,fastest moving games ever made



look at the capcom fighters, slow on the ps1 , flawless on saturn

It does actually.
It's also a very generic game setup too.
I've seen basicly the same thing on other arcade packs.
But I don't know why you are trying to convince people to like something if it is not their taste.
If you like something, play it and go on.
You won't convince everyone to agree with you nor like something for the same reasons you do.

dont see how it loos generic... i like these jap shooters more than any other space shooter like starfox


this guy has a good idea on the sega saturn and thats what i think of it

The MAME version is superior of course but its damn nice to have the hard-copy in your sweaty, shaking hand.. The Saturn is an awesome machine, criminally overlooked. I love buying Japanese imports for it (when I have any dough!) - the CD cases and artwork are so superior to the big clunky cardboard boxes we had in Europe - also, the games were all poo over here, whoever the hell decided on what NOT to bring over (basically everything) should have been jailed - no wonder Saturn flopped :(

but ill finish with this, i used to think the saturn sucked compared to n64 and ps1 than i bought one a few months ago and my thougts are tottally changed... it gives the ps1 a run for its money but the problem is all these imports are expensive
