They may have said that but I doubt that will stop making these gemes, they are really popular and is pretty much the reason a lot people even own a Wii along with Zelda and a few Mario Titles. Other than those games The Wii doesn't have much going for it unless they are looking for a bunch of little kids to get there parents to buy a game here and there for the system and then be done with it, but if they wanted to get the attention of serious gamers like myself and I am sure just about everyone else that posts on these forums and lot of other forums then they will continue to produces these games and I am predicting many others will be made after this, I am thinking at least one title for SSB for each Nintendo system from the 64 up.
