personally I would agree about New 3DS having been a better choice cause then you'd have future proofed yourself for any future games while still having access to all the games the 2ds has access too
plus the faster loading and whatnot is real nice

that is completely false, 3ds and n3ds are in the same gen, like ds -> dsi, it's not at all like wii -> wiiu. n3ds has slightly better hardware, the wiiu is a lot more advanced than the wii is

i saved over 100 bucks going the 2ds route
hard to beat that from my perspective, not being a huge fan of the 3d aspect of the 3ds and all.
that, and the design of the 2ds (specially the seethrough crystal versions) is so retro and appealing to me. plus big hands will be grateful!!

i'm not all that interested in the 3d aspect myself, but I decided to grab a N3DS at launch so I'd have the options of future games for it right away + the faster loading times means I can play the games more and wait on things to load up less

id rather spend less now and just buy nintendo's next handheld that isn't a 3ds, i mean, i would buy the next one anyways, but im just sayin.
teh next handheld they release will probably be something new (not 3ds related) and i bet it'll be in 4ish years
till then, 2ds will quench my thirst & then some!

i do understand what you're saying though. i hope i don't miss out on too many hot new 3ds excluusives ;) kekekek, who knows what's round the corner.
ill always be more about the retro games personally, doe. ^^

i have a 2ds. plays 3ds titles. i dont play all the time. basically for traveling. maybe a little light gaming in bed. Im happy with it.
