how so?

its a new entry to the franchise, how is it a remake?

Look at legend of zelda and like pokemon and stuff >_>

You get your sword/shield, your bows, your hookshots, you're bombs and you go defeat 3 dungeons or so, get a new sword, go back out and beat a bunch of dungeons then kill ganon with your master sword (few exceptions)

Pokemon: starter, 5 pokeballs, 8 gyms, elite 4, champion.

Mario: run around using items like the wing cap/nozzles/mushrooms to collect 120 stars
mario party 1-8 >_>

nintendo has innovated a lot more than other company
but making huge change in some of the biggest game franchise would be a very risky move

so yeah, not that many change between each game, but there are still enough the make the game feel fresh
and its a lot better than many other newer franchise *coughcoucgh*Cod*cough*Battlefield*coughcough*AssassinsCreed*cough*

but i agree that we could use some more change, especially the story and the variety, since the gameplay is usually flawless

Nintendo is obviously made for children but I just miss their earlier games, which were somewhat challenging...

And doyek, I just grow tired of Nintendo now, mostly the wii, they're doing alright with the 3ds so far. But they changed a decent amount when they made twilight princess, it was pretty good.

Unfortunately for us, that is what Nintendo has become. I still find enjoyment in their games but I definitely don't play them for their difficulty.

they were challenging because you were younger
the only challenging game were the ones on the nes and the high difficulty was to make up for the short length of the games

there were some exceptions ofc, but thats mostly what it is

Nah, it wasn't my age, I just meant their actual older stuff, the only zelda games I really had when I was "young" for gaming was n64 games, and they're easy.
