all consoles purchased during the red ring prone period(which was way overemphasized by pathetic losers with nothing to do but incite fanboy wars) were covered until about 2012 for rrod and e74 along with other permanently disabling issues. the newer consoles and even a reasonable amount of the older ones are not incredibly loud, not the quietest but you'd have to be trying to notice it to be annoyed, the power supply is not absolutely rediculous, certainly reduces heat to the system, and they are not much bigger(as far as floor space taken) than a laptop power cord. the new ones have smaller cords, the new ones have built in wireless, saying that it doesn't have a flash media reader is bullshit, none of the current models of any of the consoles have anything but usb, which the xbox has and uses for media, millions upon millions disagree with your idea of a terrible gaming library. i use my xbox all the time on my LED and it looks great for dvd's, they have not sold 20gb hard drives with xbox's for at least 2 years, and the online price is way more than fair, i'd pay 5-7$ a month to have an online system for the wii that didn't suck major dick as it does now.
