LOL REGULAR DS?

after having my ds and looking at my friends regular ds, i was like "WTF that screens SO small!"

it's a portable, the screen size is perfectly fine.

the ds light screen is only slightly bigger, but ds lights are uncomfortable to hold, and much less durable, though they are more conventionally shaped

also the power button is way better than the power slider

In my opinion:

Buy DSI XL , get an R4 with games. youll probably end up spending $200.

When the 3ds comes out , sell it on craigs lit and say it comes with 100 hundred games on a memory card, sell it for like $150. youll get your money easy.

3DS.

Even with the battery life being what it is, I am sure you can find an outlet or a USB to charge it somewhere.

Is the battery non-replacable?

in the video with the pre firmware 3ds, it appears that the battery can be replaced by removing the bottom plate, which is not on in the video. and it looks like the gbasp/ds ones

but still, the point of a portable is to be able to play it where you cant play your consoles, i mean it's still fun if you play with it plugged in, but it kills the point of it being ultra portable

I know but if you have 3-5 hours of portability it should be cool till you find a new port.

My point was a new - enhanced battery might come out, or if it wasn't replacable then N$ would be like LOLOLOLOL 3DSi

I was wondering the same thing.I am gonna get a new one come income tax time but I see how awesome the 3DS could be but are the games coming out for it worth the extra 100-150 dollars?I can get a nice DSI new on eebay with 4 games for around 150.00 or buy one at Gamestop for like 90.00 and grab some games myself and have a warrenty. And use up the damn 120.00 i have in store credit lol.I would only be playing it when i am on the toilet or sitting at the kids doc appts and alike situations lol.So im wodering if its worth it.
