well like the current version of akiao (the one i use) is like 1.4.1 but when a new game will come out sometimes that firmware wont work with it and the people who make and update akiao will normally like release a newer version so the newest game will work, that or there is some wierd complicated way to do it but i cant remember

yea..when i first got my flashcart, i downloaded pretty much every single game that i think i would be the slightest interested in just so i always have the option to play ne game
