The Wii, in my opinion, is the best of he three latest. PS3 is too overpriced to be worth it. Xbox 360 is a fragile and buggy system, though it does have a few good games (Bioshock, Halo 2, GTA IV); but the Wii is an all-around winner. It's the only true next-gen system with the wii remote and game design. Sure the graphics aren't the best...if you compare them to the PS3 and Xbox 360. I don't. I compare them to the Gamecube. The small handful of good games it is is similar to the handful of good games the other two systems have. Honestly, how many people only wanted the PS3 because news of the FF7 remake was out? I, personally, have about 7 Wii games and over 20 downloads.

So ya...the Wii is definately worth the $250 you'll shell out.

Heck...if it's anything like the Gamecube, you can use it as a frisbee when you get bored with it and still come back to play it in perfect condition the next day. =)

The wii get's boring after u play it for a very long time, actually if u play any console for a long time , it get's boring.

It all really depends on what games you get for it though. I play my Wii everyday since I have gotten it and am not tired of it at all.

Wait until its $99, thats what happens to the lamest of the 3 consoles (xbox360,ps3,wii) It will be Wii.

the wii is a very fun system..but i would have to say that it is worthless to buy this unless you have other people that will play multiplayer games with you and the funds for at least one more controller...the wii is based more on a multiplayer concept and most of the wii games are really laid back competition(aside from mariokart, and ssbb) if you do buy the system i would have to recommend that you get resident evil 4: wii edition...it is an incredibly fun game that lasts a while and has extra games you can play when you beat the original story...this game and ssbb/mariokart are great games.

The Wii isn't worth the $250 right now.

XBox360 dropping to $199 and everyone expects Nintendo to lower to match as well. Dont forget this is heading into the holiday season and this year will come down to a price war.

Purely an economic perspective here to answer your question.
