Zelda is really great.

i'd say buy a flashcard and download all games you want
that way you can try them and delete them if you dont like the game. and it aint that expansive.

i have an r4ds and i love it. but apparently the cyclods allows flash cards greater than 2gb (since it can read microsdhc cards aswell). that way you can put even more.

I heard the newer versions of the R4DS also supports SDHC so you should be able to use high storage cards on that or just get the DSTT; it's cheap and supports sdhc also.
I also recommend The World Ends With You. It's a action rpg type of game made by the people from Kingdom Hearts.
