Falco has excellent combo ability over fox despite fox being much faster, falco's laser really puts pressure on fox cuz of the stun. Then again a good fox may shine spike falco and such

Fox and Falco are both top tier. There are so many differences between fox and falco, and speaking strictly by character potential fox verse falco is a 70/30 deal, with falco winning 70% of the time. Falco is astoundingly easier to use, as his shine leads to simple combos such as pillaring that can go incredibly slow, and his dair is much easier to spike with than fox's shine. Falco's dair, nair, and bair are all better than fox's, and fox only excels with his up smash and uair. Falco is also incredibly easy to approach with, using shff lasers, leading up to an easy shine combo using shffl dairs followed by shines.

What? I thought fox vs. falco was favored in fox's behalf? Falco can't recover after some well executed shines and leads to low percent kills.

i would say fox would win if you saying in SSBM and the players are evenly skilled. I voted falco, because i didn't know, and that i like him more.

Falco has weak recovery (on and off stage), and his approach is too obvious (fox can easily counter with quick shines to mess falco up). The dnair is easy to counter (for the more advance players, theres something called wall tech).
