at least they flund a decent way to do this, partering with a mobile gaming company instead of getting one of their own studios to develop mobile games, i mean i don't mind mobile-gaming-enthusiasts getting some nintendo love, as long as i get what i am promised when buying a ninty console: games

i think there are people taking this wrong way in some places I've seen
since the mobile games will be meant to try and encourage people to go to their platforms (aka something they mentioned as a possibility for them months ago)


and on the naming scheme thing, Nintendo has often had that kind of naming system
Famicom/Nintendo -> Super Famicom/Nintendo
Game Boy -> Game Boy Colour -> Game Boy Advance -> Game Advance SP/Micro
DS -> DS Lite -> DSi -> 3DS -> N3DS
Wii -> Wii U

they tend to keep a consistent naming scheme based on similarities, I imagine the next console/handheld may have a similar naming scheme to each other rather than previous ones (due to them wanting to make the software side closer in design to each other)
