so on wednesday im purchasing my 3ds (Decided to go with blue)

the main reason im getting it is because of all the awesome games that are going to be coming out in the future, but im looking for a title that will hold me over at least until starfox comes out haha

probably gonna pick up a pokemon game to kill time but i want a game that shows off the 3D aspect of the system. was never a fan of zelda but i was considering ocarina of time.

any suggestions from you guys? basically if you had to pick 1 game for the 3DS that is already out, what would you pick

the starfox game is jus a remake of the n64 one
its gonna be jus like oot remake was

but it has online

theres not much atm for 3ds

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time, if you feel nostalgic or just wanna play a great adventure game

Nintendogs + cats, if you like the genre lol

Resident Evil: mercenaries, if you dont play games just to see the end of it/dont care for a story/and like highscores (its like the mercenaries included with RE:4 and 5, so if you played those its pretty much like it) its full retail price so its kinda expensive for a part of a game

ofc you might not like all of those games but they are all pretty good in their genre

some of those might not be worth buying at full retail price but if you can find a used copy or rent them its pretty good i think

Dead or alive is a pretty good fighter aswell i heard

also you should check if best buy really is selling mercenaries and Dead or alive at 20$ each

at that price both games are definitely worth it

yeah im aware but i havent played starfox in about a decade and i loved it before so im picking it up haha

i recomend just getting pokemon (for a good time killer) and oot (best game on 3ds and really shows off its hardware)


doa:d, mercenaries are both great for 20 bucks at best buy

Oot doesnt show off the power of the hardware but the 3d is great

look games fucking crisp..most games wont be much better

what?

edit: anyways its still a n64 game even with the better graphics (mostly better textures and new animations)

most games will be much better in terms of environnement details, number of enemies on screen, lightings/shadowing effects etc

just look at RE:revelations, the game is gorgeous (i know not all games will be as good looking but still if the console is capable of such graphics i wouldnt say Oot shows off the capabilities of the console)
