Gamecube controllers had the best durrability.
I still got the one that came with my system and plays as good/better then some of the new ones I've bought.

I have to agree in a way, sometimes when I am just chilling laying it odd positions playing my Wii, having my hands separated is very nice, but otherwise GCN controller >.
