need help savings games on emulator
i have controls on enter to open the menu but it doesnt work
another button aswell

it doesnt matter if i have menu on enter or z or whatever
it doesnt pop up

If your Emulator has save states, try that.
If not, try looking in the options till you see something that looks like it could help.
