k the only gameboy i have is

gameboy colour and i only play the pokemon games

ive deciced to join my friend and buy a ds so i can play the new games but i looked and theres a shet load of ds's

i need help on which one u guys reccomend to buy???

keep in mind that i only gunna play pokemon games prolly

ds lite ifu wanna be able to play gba games too

else get a dsi xl cuz awesome screen on it

or simply get a dsi

original ds is horrible, bad screen, bad L+R button

only good thing on it was the a,b,x,y and the dpad

oh and its heavy lol

Id wait for 3DS. Or scrap the idea and wait for NGP

it's heavy? lol...and i've never had a problem with an original ds...but the ds lights i've had have eventually gotten a partially working r/l button =/

would it be difficult to find a orginal ds?? in stores or i gotta look online?

gamestop would have them...it's 70 for a regular, 80 for a light.

though when you are buying used, a ds light would be a much better purchase, because an original ds is bound to be much, much older so it will have a more scratched screen and a worse battery life unfortunately.

if you were looking @ new ones though, finding a new ds original imo is the way to go.
