This is for General use, with a DS. It's using what I have available, I'm just looking for recommendations. No ubers and standard clauses apply. (No item clause though) Not worrying about EV training/natures/IVs because they are too much effort to control.

Scizor - Pursuit, Bullet Punch, Swords Dance, Brick Break. LIFE ORB - Physical Sweeper

Metagross - Meteor mash, Agility, Hammer Arm, Rock Slide. OCCA BERRY - Physical Sweeper/Wall

Tyranitar - Earthquake, Crunch, Stone Edge, Fire Fang. CHOICE SCARF - Physical Sweeper

Suicine - Calm Mind, Surf, Rest, Sleep Talk. LEFTOVERS - Special Wall

Latias - Psychic, Dragon Pulse, Recover, Charm. ANYTHING - Special Sweeper/Mixed Wall

Dragonite - Thunderpunch, Roost, Dragon Dance, Outrage. LUM BERRY - Physical Sweeper

Aerodactyl - Stealth Rock, Taunt, Earthquake, Rock Slide. FOCUS SASH - Lead

Zapdos - Special Sweeper (Too many sweepers...? Make physically defensive?)

Azelf - Special Sweeper

Obviously I haven't decided on the movesets for the last two. Recommendations for those would be cool... also do i have too many sweepers and not enough walls? Thoughts?!?

Hammer Arm and Agility are a bit pointless; seeing Hammer Arm decreases your speed everytime you use it. I would advise keeping only one, I would think to keep Agility and put Earthquake, so you can beat Steels that can wall that set with relative ease.

Definately give Scizor a Bug STAB over Pursuit, like Bug Bite, as Pursuit is generally only for revenge killing, not for a setup sweeper.

Give Latias Surf over Psychic, so you don't get destroyed by the likes of Scizor/T-tar. I'm not sure about Charm, I don't think it is even allowed so maybe change it.

Fire Punch over Fire Fang, it has both more damage and more accuracy.

Not sure about T-Punch on Dragonite, Fire Punch or EQ would allow you to hit Steels harder, which are the only type to resist Dragon.

Aero/Suicune seem fine

And yes, I think you have too many sweepers and not enough walls, you have 3/4 (if you count suicune) setup sweepers; which is an awful lot for one team

Maybe keep 1-2 you would like to use; then work around those 2 in particular

Good point on the Hammer Arm, although if I switch it with Earthquake then I risk having too many Earthquakes :P .

Definately give Scizor a Bug STAB over Pursuit, like Bug Bite, as Pursuit is generally only for revenge killing, not for a setup sweeper. I need a pokemon with Pursuit, as it will greatly help in the opponents I'm versing. Should I add it to Tyranitar perhaps? Also, what Bug Stab move? I can easily give it X-Scissor, but that's not taking full use of Technician and I'd rather see Pursuit being boosted.

Give Latias Surf over Psychic, so you don't get destroyed by the likes of Scizor/T-tar. I'm not sure about Charm, I don't think it is even allowed so maybe change it. Surf is a good option, and has been recommended by Smogon. I would give it Surf, but I already have a Suicune and thus it would make it kind of pointless to have Surf on both... I also have no Psychic moves other than this. I'm thinking teamwise here, not individually. Still think I should drop it?

Fire Punch over Fire Fang, it has both more damage and more accuracy. Definitely. But how? I don't think it can be tutored...

Not sure about T-Punch on Dragonite, Fire Punch or EQ would allow you to hit Steels harder, which are the only type to resist Dragon. This is what I definitely wondered about here, but opted for Thunderpunch because at the time I lacked lightning moves. Now with Zapdos it seems kind of pointless, and will probably exchange it for fire punch. Thanks for pointing it out!

Awesome! Thanks for the detailed analysis mate!

There's 9. We are making teams of nine and exchanging them.

Ah didn't notice you didn't have Pursuit on T-tar, yeah, it's probably better to put it on Tyranitar then it is on Scizor. I recommended Bug Bite if you didn't see, as it gets the boost from Technician.

Yes I still think Surf is a better option. Psychic has rather redundant coverage, whilst Surf / Dragon Pulse has excellent overall coverage.

You can get Fire Punch in Battle Frontier in HG/SS anyway, not sure about other games

You won't really have too many EQs, considering that that Aero set is generally a suicide Lead, so

Also consider my other point about walls/sweepers, so maybe I can help you there

Great advice. I'll definitely try and change as much as I can, cheers! Gonna need a lot of battle points though, ugh!

no problem.

Also, you could always test your team out on Shoddy battle before finalising it, incase you feel the need to change something or so

Scizor isn't really smart as a sweeper, it's more like anti-game checker. Magnezone can easily come in, trap it, and OHKO it with Hidden Power Fire or Thunderbolt.
Not really smart to use it as a lead either, Azelf is common as crap and OHKOs it with Fire Blast.
Didn't bother reading the rest since EVs weren't even posted.

Clearly you didn't read much at all. Scizor is smart as a sweeper in my case, as this is not Smogon. These are wi-fi battles between myself and 8 other people, and his priority, stab'd, technician bullet punch will be invaluable for revenge killing if need be.

"Azelf is common as crap" - Oh, really? Awesome that you're stalking my mate's teams, ol' chap. That should help me a wee bit. Cheers.

Scizor as lead? Did I say it was lead? No. Read the whole lot before making assumptions, and you'll see that I pointed out that Aerodactyl was my planned lead.

Glad to see you stopped reading before you got any more unhelpful than I thought were possible.
