Actually the new one is probably better. It looks cooler too and you can have pokemon following you :).
My bro tried Heart Gold and im trying Soul silver. It froze for him a lot and it froze for me only twice. Try soul
silver.

Mine froze for me when I went into Pokecenters so I just went to the CycloDS website and updated it to the latest version. Works fine now ^_^
