You need to have WiFi, and then you have to buy the songs for 200 Wii Points each song.

Also .. I know what the star power icons are, but what does the note mean when it looks like an actual drum?

Umm.. I'm not too sure, I didn't have the drums for that game. :| I suggest not buying songs on GH World Tour, since 5 is already out. Just get 5 and buy songs on there. World Tour was actually quite a big downstep from the others. I didn't like it, and at most game stores Guitar Hero 3 is still more expensive than WT.

I either career band with friends, or career alone so no vs mode.

I found out when it looks like a little drum I'm supposed to hit it harder than usual, cause it's where the "real" drummer hit harder for emphasis.

I don't want to ruin my drum kit ... :S

If I'm not dropping the sticks, I'm getting them caught under the cymbals or crack the sticks together by accident.

I also tend to only hit red with my left hand and use my right for yellow, orange blue and green. It's making life hard >.<
