Have you ever done a handicapped playthrough of a game? Or a speed-run, perhaps?


My progress:


Super Mario World (speedrun) complete: I don't know the exact time, but I downloaded an emulator at school in a Film class and played through it pretty damn fast.

Paper Mario 64 (10HP playthrough) complete: I did this game 100% with 10HP, defeated the whole dojo, etc.

Paper Mario TTYD (10HP playthrough) incomplete: I'm still playing through this one, I'm currently on chapter 6.

Super Mario RPG (minimum level up playthrough) haven't started: Wanted to try this.

how the fuck(without cheating) did you manage to beat paper mario 64 with 10hp.

Hundreds upon hundreds of games. I learned so many tips for doing these it's not even funny.

I've been thinking of doing the Zelda OoT one but the shorter version with the Water Temple glitch

super mario bros 3 is the only one i ever did a speedrun of, forgot the time tho.

well that shouldnt be considered a speedrun at all, if you glitch then its not legitimate.

because doing it in one sit-in takes too long without the glitching

its more a trick than a glitch

yea but you dont play through the whole game, therefore its not a complete speedrun. i think speedrun should include all of the game, story part ofcourse.

If its a full speed run then yes
