Well Brawl might let you set up actual tournaments online (Haven't looked into this yet)

So that way everyone would be on the same page, and could see matches/results real time

This can be solved by making a free for all match, and let who ever is not part of the fight to stand aside or just suicide and watch the rest of the match.
