Is the PSP or DS better? I know I'm asking which is better in a DS forum so most people will say DS but I'd like to hear from people that may have had both. I have a PsP and it seems that there aren't many games out that are good. The only one I have been looking forward to is God of War. DS seems like there are a ton of games and I'd love to replay some Final Fantasy and Megaman games. How are the graphics compared to psp? Are the prices reasonable because I've paid 39.99 ( I don't firmware/download games) for some shit games on psp and I'd rather not do that again. And from what I've read you can play Gameboy Advance games on there as well? I've researched a little but now it's time to here from some people with first hand experience I guess...

Guess what I'm asking is how does it compare to psp?
Graphics?
Games?
Price?
Anything else?

Well, if you're mainly into gaming then a DS would definitely be better than a PSP. There are TONS of great games on the DS. The price is most likely cheaper than the PSP games as well. As for the graphics, I guess it depends on what kind of games you want to compare those with. All in all, if you're mainly into gaming get a DS. A PSP is just to carry around portable music, movies, and such. That's just my opinion.

Mindless gaming - DS
Watching videos, messing around on the internet, etc, etc - PSP
PSP is more for multimedia, IMO.

I don't mind graphics really. I've had a serious craving for some Final Fantasy 4 and those type of graphics don't bother me at all.

Sounds like I'm gonna get a DS and give that psp to my bro.

I would DEFINTELY buy a DS....since you have enough money to buy a PSP, this shouldn't be a problem....smile.gif

You can always mod it, and buy supercards online, so you can be UBER happy later smile.gif because you won't have to buy DS games :-D

Yeah, been looking into getting one... Just made a topic about it.

I\'d mainly get it for Pokemon smile.gif Looks very good, but classic Pokemon was a lot better, I knew pretty much all the Pokemon, but that was when I was like 10 wink.gif

Well everything depends on you when you want to get a DS, Ds is great with pokemon and mario and many other games but you could also say that for psp, theres quite alot of Good games for Psp too such as , monster hunter 2 , many of the Rpgs and some good games comming out you just gotta search for the games not all stores provide a whole collection of games. Personally i dink Both the Ds and Psp is great just that each are different from each other as to me i personally dink DS which is from Nintendo doesn't really have as much intense games as the Psp which is from Sony. Just think of it like each system have their own set of games , whether you want to play the DS or the Psp is up to you. If you have Both it'll be great so you won't be missing out on any of the great games for each system but if you have only one you miss out on some games but it won't kill you at all because they both provide great games to keep you company and having fun. happy.gif
