Hey. Bought this game because I like grinding games and people whined that this game is very much about grinding.

Found out its very mechanical; know the enemy combos and sounds and then strike. I dont have patience to learn 1000 bosses moves.

Do you know that is it possible to play this game thru via leveling and gearing? 😃

That's basically the melee build requirement.

If you want to breeze through the game with minimal difficulty I would make an int mage, magic is insanely strong in this game. Also ashes of war like Hoarfrost stomp make the game a breeze on int build. Still need to master some mechanics but not nearly as much.

Hoarfrost stomp is nerfed afaik.

But starter mages can get meteorite staff quickly and rock sling your way to the mid/late game very easily.

I haven’t heard one person say it’s a grindy game

I guess you could just farm souls until you’re max level to make it grind-heavy if you really want?

If you want to just cheese the game buy souls from one of the people on jsp selling them and a max upgraded weapon and breeze through the game at an insanely high level



It is heavily nerfed. There are still plenty of broken weapon arts though

Hmm. Which weapon arts!? I beat rahdan just recently and astel + got astels weapon.
Also have the darkmoon greatsword.
Ima mage and kinds lost where to go and what to do next. Just clearing all of cailed and such right now before I go into royal city thing.

The death’s poker and blasphemous blade ones are both very strong. Ruin greatsword is another one that comes to mind that’s quite good

It is, but it's still very strong. They just lowered damage a bit and made it cast longer so you can't have 2 stomps out at the same time.. That was too much lmao
